TruckIRS kit for 1947-54 Chevy trucks. The 2″ x 2″ (blue) square tube is not included in the kit. The front view below shows the two FWD mounts (green) along with the white angles to partially box the frame rails.
The rear view below shows the two REAR mounts (gray) along with the black spacer rectangular box tubing (under the blue square tube) to tie the IRS subframe to the truck’s frame rails. The REAR mounts support the airbag or coil spring as well as provide a location to bolt the IRS subframe’s rear mount.
A side view of the driver’s side shows the angle bracket (black) that interfaces to the side of the frame rail to provide a stronger interface to the rear mounts (gray)
